- Suraksha program was started in the year 2006 and completed in September 2011.
- The program is implemented in 28 villages of Pondicherry, Karaikal and Cuddalore districts.
- The objective is to create an improved system and support mechanism at different levels for developing a resilient community through participatory governance.
