The Fraternal Life Service Home (FLSH) was established in the year 1983 initially with 10 mentally ill patients who were picked up from the streets. FLSH has been designed as a transit home where people with mental illness are admitted, given treatment and sent back to their home once they become normal.

FLSH is the only home available within districts of Pondicherry & Karaikal, Cuddalore and Villupuram Districts of Tamil Nadu for the rehabilitation of the mentally ill. The home continuously provide medical care, love and concern to more than 1500 mentally ill persons from the year 1983, irrespective of caste and creed with the support from Government, local sponsors and International donors.
